June Trials
2026
5 Sports · 6 Coaches · One Assessment
A structured athletic assessment led by national-level coaches. Find out exactly where your child is — and where they can go.
Register Now — $180$180 is credited toward your child's first month if they enrol.
Not a competition.
An honest assessment.
The June Trials are six coached sessions — one per sport — designed to give your child a clear picture of where they are athletically and where they can go.
Each session is 90 minutes, led by a specialist coach, and capped at 15 children. After their session, every child receives a written report from the coach: one strength, one area to develop, and one specific pathway recommendation.
We will tell you honestly if STRYDE is the right next step. We will also tell you if it is not.
Five Sports. Six Days.
Each session covers one discipline. Register for one or all six.
$180. Every session included.
One registration covers access to all six sessions across all six sports.
All six sessions across Basketball, Judo, S&C, Track & Field, and Climbing. Specialist coaching, capped groups of 15, and a written assessment report after each session your child attends.
If your child enrols in STRYDE after the trials, the $180 registration fee is credited directly to their first month. You pay once. It counts toward the programme.
Every session is capped at 15 children. This is not a class — it is a coached assessment with individual attention. Once a session is full, registration closes.
National-level coaches.
Every session.
Every STRYDE coach is a specialist — not a generalist covering multiple sports.
Before you register
Does my child need prior experience in any of the sports?
No. The trials are designed for children aged 7 to 12 with any level of experience — including none. Coaches assess movement quality, coordination, and athletic potential. These qualities do not depend on prior training in a specific sport.
Does my child need to attend all six sessions?
No. You can register for one session or all six. The $180 covers the full set of trials. There is no additional charge per session regardless of how many your child attends.
How does the $180 credit work?
If your child enrols in the STRYDE programme after the trials, the $180 registration fee is applied directly to their first month's invoice. It is not a discount — the $180 you pay today counts toward your first payment.
What happens after the trials?
Within one week of each session, you will receive a written report from the coach covering what they observed, what your child does well, and one specific area for development. If STRYDE is a strong fit, the coach will recommend a training pathway. If it is not, they will tell you that too.
What should my child bring?
Basketball: Court shoes and sports attire.
Judo: Dri-fit inner shirt and shorts. Judogi is provided at the venue.
S&C: Indoor training shoes and workout attire.
Track & Field: Running shoes.
Climbing: Close-fitting sportswear. Climbing shoes are provided at Kinetics.
Water and a light snack are recommended for sessions earlier in the morning.
What is the group size?
Each session is capped at 15 children. When a session reaches capacity, registration closes. We do not maintain a waitlist — if you intend to register, do so early.
